Meet the Team

Steve Marr:
Steve Marr is the PGA professional at Withington Golf Club.

Steve has 30 years PGA experience having worked in the UK, Germany and latterly Florida in the USA. Steve enjoys coaching and playing and away from golf he is a keen Manchester United fan, and enjoys running and working out.

Richard Garside:
Joined the Pro Shop Staff in the Spring of 2009. Richard had an outstanding junior career, representing Lancashire and reaching a scratch handicap. He joined the Professional ranks and passed his PGA playing ability test first time. He his curently completeing his first year course work with the Professional Golfers Association.

Andy Parrington:
Andy is currently working as Trainee Assistant and he is greatly looking forward to joining the PGA. Having left school and gone to college, he already has experience in a golf retail environment, and when qualified sees his future in golf coaching. Away from golf he enjoys a wide variety of sporting activities.
