Coaching

Lessons are available throughout the year from Head Professional Steve Marr and his PGA trainee assistant Richard Garside. Before returning to Withington, Steve has been coaching in Germany and latterly, Orlando, Florida with some of the world’s best coaches and players.

Steve has been fortunate to coach three winners of major titles: Ian Woosnam (US Masters), Zach Johnson (US Masters) and Im-Bee Park (Ladies US Open). Whilst this has been a great experience, Steve still gets the most reward from teaching beginners and newcomers to the game.

With an Indoor Coaching Studio. It will enable players to work on their game during the winter months or through inclement weather. A significant investment has been made in the appearance of the Studio and also in the latest GASP software which will help make indoor or outdoor coaching even more appealing.

The most important factor is how to practice after the lessons has finished! Always remember, there are no secrets, only good sound advice. Group coaching is also available and is very popular. Ladies and Junior programmes run throughout the season.
